Raiding/Grouping Guidelines
Raiding is different than grouping. In a group there are 5 of us usually killing mobs mindlessly, in an instance we have all been in a dozen times before, and we are in a channel chatting and goofing off and generally being the fun loving nutbags most of us are. That's good and that's how it should be.

A Raid though needs to be a more serious thing, it is 25 to 40 people all working together to achieve a common goal. Most raiding guilds have a simple rule. Do not talk unless you are the Raid Leader or an officer. Type your questions. We don't have that rule, but that does not mean raid chat should be an open forum for any topic that flies into anyones head at any moment, particularly while we are setting in front of the boss in prep time, always keep in mind 25 to 40 people are waiting to kill a mob and unless what you have to say is pertinent to that, this is very likely not the proper time or place to say it. This does not mean STFU, it just means think before you speak. During a raid there is absolutely no reason whatsoever for anyone to go into stealth mode and go "scouting" NEVER do that. If it's a surprise to you that a level ??? Boss sees through your stealth and kills you and then wipes the raid because of it, well, you need your head examined because they will over and over and over. Please do not wander off from the raid for any reason, stealthed or not. It is a pain in the ass and an unnecessary drain on time and resources to have to redo buffs on one individual of a class because he was exploring while the raid was buffing.

Lastly, some of us have brand new superfast computers with great internet connections, some of us don't. Please do everyone a favor and sit or stand and wait instructions / buffs, flying, running around, Egbert, whatever, all it does is add lag for those people that are trying very hard to do their best with a high ping already. Rayl is our primary raid leader and sets his rules for the majority of our raids, Nukie, myself and Para also lead raids from time to time and may have slightly different ones. Regardless of who the raid leader is, please be conscientious and considerate of the 25 to 40 other people that are here trying to get this mission accomplished.

In Raids, the more professionally we approach them, the less chatter, the less unnecessary BS of any kind, the more successful we will be, the more bosses will be killed and the more loot we will get from them. THEN, when the bosses are dead, their loot distributed, we play the theme song and run and jump and fly, cast spells and set off fireworks do even more stupid Shit than most people can imagine.

-----Raiding Guidelines-----

- Be available15 minutes before posted raid start time.
-DO NOT come to a raid PvP Flagged.
-Be 100% prepared, have reagents, stat food, mana / health pots, guardian and battle pots / elixirs and/or flasks.
-Do not take detours, ie. you get a tier set token, DO NOT go turn it in between that boss and the next boss. Wait until raiding is over for the night before you do so.
-Keep vent chatter to a minimum.
-For DPSers , always watch your threat meter and use every agro reducing ability you have every time it pops, regardless of how low on the meter you are.
-Do not GANK flagged Horde if you want in the raid, we will not wait 5 minutes for your PvP timer to clear because you wanted to kill some idiot who came to a raid flagged, believe me, he wishes he was dead as his whole raid is calling him a noobtard right now.
-Unless otherwise mentioned, being at maximum distance from the mob is almost always the wisest decision, and behind him is almost always better than being in front.
-Everyone, even healers, should have their First Aid skill to at least 325, and come to each raid with Heavy Netherweave Bandages.
-Stay with the group, ALWAYS, do not explore, NEVER explore, not stealthed, not invised, not ever.
-Do not EVER talk to any NPC's in a Raid instance, unless specifically instructed to by the Raid Leader. Normally NPCs in a Raid Instnace trigger the Raid event, don't be the guy that wipes the raid because he's curios what this NPC has to say, AKA the guy that just got Gkicked..
-When a wipe is called DIE. Do not run away, Wipe NOW, this second, try to get killed, do everythign you can to die as quickly as possible so we can get back and start again, NEVER RUN AWAY, EVER. There are a few bosses you can "Leash", if it is one of them, then leash when called.

I agree to abide and uphold the above Raiding/Grouping Guidelines. Continue to DKP Policies
